Okay, so this is what has been going on the past few days.
My brother got into a Motorcycle accident, a woman T-boned him on his bike.
The hit was directly to his ankle/foot, causing several bones to break as well as tendons.
Both bone breaks in his ankle and his foot were open fractures, which means they went though the skin.
He, THANK GOD, did NOT hit his head or loose consciousness.
The police and the firefighters were very quick to respond and handle the situation.
For a bit of an lol i'll mention that they cut all of his cloths off there in the street, even his boxers.
He was able to call a friend to come pick up his bike so it wasn't impounded, and this friend then contacted all of us.
Another thankful thing is that the woman, an older lady, basically hung her self confessing to the police that it's her fault.
She hopefully has really good insurance because do to his injuries, Rob will probably be healing for a year.
At the hospital we managed to see him for a min. before they took him into his first surgery.
He was very emotional and worried about things, still in shock but he still managed to crack a few jokes.
After a handful of hours he was out of surgery in which they put plates and rods in his bones and attached the tendons.
Two days later they took him in for his second surgery to flush out the wound and to scrap out dead skin and such.
They are apparently releasing him tomorrow, to which he has agreed to come to our house to recover due to the fact that his apartment is 20 stair steps above the ground and we have a wheel chair ramp and are on the ground level.
Him and his fiancee Stacy will be taking over my room while I take over their apartment in order to watch over their pets and to help manage the house while no one else lives there.
So while I'll be taking my art supplies with me, and I'll have a limited amount of computer access through my cell phone, I probably wont be on for about a week, maybe two in the sense of I'll be posting. If I promised you an art piece, I'm really sorry to say if I finish it, it'll be delayed in receiving. Hopefully he'll heal well and doing his therapy doesn't cause him to feel too much more pain. They have him pretty doped up.
