We are different from one another
We each have our special talents
Our own special faults
We can make things beautiful
And we can make them hideous
We can work together in perfect melody
And we can be totally off key from each other
We can understand and not ever have to ask
But then again we can be completely clueless
This is all because we are different
You and I will never be the same
No matter how much we share between us
I will never be you as you will never be me
I prefer it this way
That I am one color and one type of light
While you are my opposite and yet my match
We can blend and flow as one picture
Or we can part with ridged edges as two complete wholes
If we wish we can come together to play our parts
Or we can walk off stage and never speak our verses
I am one thing and you are another
We share what we’re made of but not what we are
I am this type of perfume and you are your own fragrance
Both smell so sweet and bitter in their own ways
Nothing in this world can be perfectly the same
Nor can anything in this world be perfectly different
You and I are connected in ways that others can’t understand
Maybe they can’t handle it yet but one day soon
They will see the way we dance together without moving
And finally get that you were made for me as I was made for you

Hmmmm...This was originally meant to show that two people in love can be very diffent at times, no matter how much they share in common or how much they share with each other, they're two different people and they will never be exactly the same...but in the end, after rereading it, i realized that it could apply to EVERYONE. Love our differences, if we were all the same, life would be rather boring. <3

This was very touching, well written and greatly explained. It doesn't seem tumbled, ut rather... a really nice flow. Am excellent piece!
I probably shouldn't bore you with what it reminds me of, but as a poet myself I reckon that being able to remind your readers of real life events is one of the most rewarding experiences
Me and my guy are like this. Sometimes we're like two pieces in a puzzle that slot together beautifully.
And other times, we're two colors that are clashing horribly D:
